Destiny Tool started, as many carbide end mills companies, started out as a custom carbide round tool manufacturer. The company was called Step Tool and we specialized in making, you guessed it, step tools.
Although many people know us for our high performance end mills such as the Viper, Diamondback, Raptor, Raptor 3/6 and Python series tools we also still make quite a number of special tools. We cut our teeth on "specials". It's been an integral part of our R&D for over 25 years! As you may also know, we offer lengths of cut, OAL, LBS (Nength Below Shank / neck relief) and a variety of corner radii that many other company's would consider "specials" If you've looked at any of our end mill standard products you already know we provide many of these tools "off-the-shelf" But, Did you know...
... that we offer standard modifications to our end mills. Fast turnaround for a special radius, ball ends, neck reliefs, coolant grooves and yes, even sometime Weldon Flats (although we see very very few of those anymore as more people have become aware the runout problems associated with flats. Read: Why we DO NOT recommend End Mill Holders).
