G.A. SALES COMPANY was founded in 1983 by Jim Gregory in Harrisburg, PA. The primary goal was to focus on cutting tools and abrasives and to provide expert representation for a limited number of industrial lines within the territories covered.

To be eligible for G.A. Sales representation, the lines need to be:

Committed to distribution.
Broaden the company's product offering without distracting from its existing lines.
Offer quality, and preferably, unique features.
Sold to the same select distributor base as its existing lines.

Over the years, that focus has not waivered! G.A. Sales still represents a limited number of high quality companies in the industrial manufacturing business.

Today, G.A. Sales is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio with three outside sales people covering the states of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Western Pennsylvania and Western West Virginia. Our satellite office in Canton, Ohio handles inside sales for all represented lines, lead follow-up, sales reporting and miscellaneous related duties.

Approximately 75% of our selling time is spent with the end user, either with a distributor or on their behalf.

We are proud to represent the finest cutting tool & abrasive manufacturers! Many of our manufacturers offer products with "unique & sellable features" - when possible, we prefer to market those products through select distributors

Dave has been in the rep business since 1992. His primary lines when he got started were Data Flute & Parlec. When he joined G.A. Sales in 1998, he already had a great following; the distributors he had served for over six years knew they could count on him for prompt, courteous and technical support. Dave has spent many hours “at the spindle” promoting high-performance cutting tools – a perfect fit with G.A. Sales Company.

Territory Sales Manager: Larry Harting has been in the cutting tool industry since 1991. Prior to joining G. A. Sales in 2006, Larry spent 15 years in inside sales on the distributor side of business servicing a wide variety of users’ needs. He also spent considerable time working with suppliers, as well as attended numerous technical sales schools put on by the manufacturers. Larry’s many assets will be invaluable to our agency and to our distributors. Also Larry is a Parlec Factory trained Level 1 Presetter Technician.

Larry covers the entire state of Indiana.

As a rep, John attended many of the national tool shows such as IMTS and ISA, as well as many regional shows. John will be servicing the southern Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia sales territory.

We are pleased to welcome Gaudian Sales to our sales team. Located in Lombard, IL, 25 minutes west of Chicago, Gaudian has been serving distributorsin to the Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana, Upper Michigan and Wisconsin metalcutting manufacturing markets since 1964.
